Hey YOU! Put some happy in your day
There's so many things you can do to put happy back in your day.
The list goes on and on, and you will always find more to add to it.
The trick is to start your happy list, now, and wait in anticipation where that list of yours will take you.
Here's a few ways to kick-start your own happy list.
As soon as you wake up, start smiling baby. Look in the mirror if that's what it takes to make you smile, and this my friend, will give you a good start to having a great day. It will put some happy in your steps as you walk out the door and face the world.
Write it down. Plan your day ahead. What you need to do, want to do, have to do and should do on your Happy Day List. It will make you happy when you scratch it off at the end of your day. The feeling of accomplishment will feed your happiness and keep it growing towards tomorrow.
Be grateful. Throughout your day think of what you're grateful for. It will create happy hormones and you'll feel good all over and along the way, remind you how far you've come.
Stay away from people who suck the happy out of you. You know who they are. You can feel it when they're around you. It hurts. It doesn't feel right. It puts a frown on your happy face.
Make sure you do one thing you like to do everyday. Something that makes you feel real good. Only you know what that is.
Hitch a ride on the Happy Bus. Remember, it's the journey that brings all the fun and happiness in your life, not the destination. Take the time to soak everything in. Stop and smell the happy flowers. Enjoy the small things in life. Happy hides in the smallest of things.
Put on your happy hat and spread happiness all over. Do something nice and special for someone. Make someone else's day when they least expect it. Yeh, go ahead, make my day.
Make some time for 'Pamper Me' day. Lock yourself in the bathroom and create your own spa experience with candles and music and get lost in your world. Embrace your beauty, embrace all of you, and embrace your happiness.
Take a trip back to memory lane. Put your headphones on or crank up the volume to music you used to listen to way back when, and dance away. Feel the happy energy going through you. Get in the happy groove!
Think happy thoughts. It takes the same amount of energy whether you think happy or not happy. Thinking happy thoughts breeds more happy thoughts. Wow! How easy is that.
Start your own happy list and share with others. Keeping track of your happy moments throughout your day will get you high on life, and it's very addictive. You're gonna want more.
